Reading Others
Many of these questions involve how others read you and how you read others. This "reading" process involves recognizing, processing, interpreting, and utilizing meaning derived from nonverbal communication. Nonverbal communication is the transmission of messages or signals through a nonverbal platform such as eye contact, facial expressions, tone of voice, and body language.
Consider the following scale for assessing your own abilities to read nonverbal communication: 0 (Not skilled at all) to 10 (Highly skilled). Rate yourself using this scale.
